Well It's been a while since my last "blog" entry. Not a lot has gone on. We did get the keys to our house and we are in!! :) (When I say in, we haven't actually moved in yet. We will do that on Saturday.) YAY! It feels so nice to say we have a house. At the same time though I feel like I am not old enough to have a house. Life kind of sneaks up on you doesn't it? It sure needs some work....but Cameron and I have been there as often as we can. We have one room completely done, that would be our bedroom! New paint, new carpet, it looks soooo nice. I can't wait until the whole house is done. It's going to look like a totally different house. Cameron has decided to take on the job of tiling the kitchen, landing, bathrooms and the half kitchen downstairs. He has put in different floors before so he is pretty confident that he can do tiling. I am glad he is confident and understands what people from the different hardware stores have been telling him about it. I don't understand it one bit. But he is half way done with the hardi backer in the upstairs kitchen. We figure once we move in on Saturday we will be there all of the time and when we have free time we can work on it all we want. I am excited to get it done.
Other big news is that both Cameron and myself have new jobs!! YAY! We are both sooo happy about it. Cameron now works for Discover. Which he says is much much better then Convergy's. He is still in training and will be for the next 6 weeks. I am so happy that he is in a place he actually likes. My new job is as a CNA (certified nursing assistant) at an assisted living community with my younger sister Aimee. It's great working with her. I have missed being a CNA, I find it rewarding.....helping those who need help with a little or a lot of everyday tasks. It's great.
We feel very blessed.
